Gurdwara Prabh Milne Ka Chao Meditation Society adheres to the principles of Gurdwara Prabh Milne Ka Chao (GPMKC) in Moga, India. This temple was established by Bhai Sahib Bhai Sewa Singh Ji Tarmala who dedicated his entire life to the Divine Lord and spreading the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji to the entire world. These teachings consisted of how one can achieve peace and bliss while leading a householder’s life through meditation on the Divine Word, Naam. These teachings explored the harmony between science and spirituality within Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. They emphasized a universal message of love and peace by recognizing all beings are the children of the Divine and have one Dharma to meet the Lord.
The name “Prabh Milne Ka Chao” is from Guru Granth Sahib Ji meaning the “Desire to meet the Lord”. Bhai Sahib spent much of their life in the service of the Khalsa Panth, standing up against injustice, and teaching others the spiritual path. Bhai Sahib established courses at the temple to teach students practical spirituality and meditation, hence the temple is also known as “Brahm Gyan Kendar” which means University of Divine Studies.
Bhai Sahib also exposed hypocrisy in the guise of spiritualists in their teachings, exposing how false saints and preachers are stuck in the great illusion, Maya. As a result, the innocent seekers of Truth often get mislead and also fall prey to superstitions. Bhai Sahib officially preached from 1995 to 2012 and is the author of 20 books on spirituality. Bhai Sahib led the life of a true Sant Sipahi and inspired others to follow the same divine path.
Sewa (Service) at Gurdwara Prabh Milne Ka Chao (GPMKC) headquartered in Moga, Punjab, India is now being led by Bhai Sahib Bhai Dalbir Singh Ji Tarmala who is continuing the mission of Bhai Sahib Bhai Sewa Singh Ji Tarmala along with many Gurmukh’s.
Gurdwara Prabh Milne Ka Chao Meditation Society has been registered as a Charitable Society with the CRA and looks to continue the same mission preached by Bhai Sewa Singh Ji Tarmala and the word of Guru Granth Sahib Ji to promote peace and harmony inside the mind and outside in the world. Establishing a branch of Gurdwara Prabh Milne Ka Chao in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada will further advance this mission. This Edmonton branch will look to provide the same one year course for a Sant Sipahi which is available in India as well, so that the teachings of Guru Granth Sahib Ji can be spread further as the seekers of Truth increase world wide.
